I think I need a minion at work! Are we need better tracking tools that don't involved transfering numbers from spreadsheets to spreadsheets.

And I have a better tool for moving numbers from spreadsheet to spreadsheet. But it mainly involves storing the numbers in another system that spreadsheets can link to. Or may I suggest interns?

Have you thought about using a Wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiki) for this sort thing?

Also, as fenicedautun mentionned, storing the numbers somewhere that the spreadsheets link to (like a database) might make things easier.

Do the spreadsheets have to be separate documents, or can they be different sheets in the same book? Because then you can link them.

I'll have to put that as a goal on my resume, when I go to look for a civilian job again: To be a professional minion for an Overlord worthy of the title.
